NASCOP joined the Girl Up Organization, an affiliate of the United Nations Foundation, alongside UN Women for a Localized Summit. Dr. Hermes Wanjiku, the AYP Program Lead participated in a panel discussion and gave a talk on the Ministry’s role in prevention of Gender-Based Violence among adolescents and young women.
The summit was held at the KICC on 26th and 27th July 2024, to discuss key issues in young people including Gender equality, leadership, Gender-based Violence, Innovation and Technology.
The Ministry of Health through NASCOP remains committed to providing integrated health care services including knowledge and advocacy skills to ensure efficacy in implementing interventions among young people.
